Installation Instructions for PCL-XL viewer, Long Document Viewer (LDV)

This application can be purchased online using a major credit-card on our website. LDV - Long Document Viewer is an efficient application that is best suited for viewing very large documents. To install the application, locate the file ldv.exe int he folder where you save it after purchase and follow the following instructions.

1. Double-click the file to launch the Install-Shield installation wizard; The installer will configure the application files as shown below and show you a welcome-screen when it's ready to continue.





2. Click 'Next' to proceed to the license agreement page, read the Agreement/EULA and select 'I accept the terms in the license agreement' IF you have read and understood the terms (If you decline to accept, the installation will terminate)



3. On accepting the agreement and clicking on 'Next', you will be presented with a Customer Information dialog. Select a user's name and specify the name of your organization. Also, specify if Windows should avail the Long Document Viewer - LDV application to other people that have login accounts to this computer and click 'Next'



4. You will be given an option to choose between the default/complete installation of the Long Document Viewer - LDV, or if you would like to make a custom installation (The custom options are identical to the default installation unless you are installing a combination of Lincoln * Co. applications from one file)





5. In the next stage, you will be ready to start the installation process, and clicking on the 'Install' button will start the installation process. When completed, you will be requested to click on 'Finish' to complete the installation process. You application is now ready for use.
