How To Move or Change a PDF and Postscript Converter License

A PDF and Postscript Converter License can only be used on one computer system at a time. If you would like to use your license on a different computer system for any reason (rebuilding PC, replacing Hard-Disk Drive etc), you will be required to revaidate your installation with a license key as follows:

• To Move NewProtect License to another machine or drive:
  1. Install the software on the new location.
  2. Run \lincoln\bin\LincLicense.exe on new location.
  3. Select product.
  4. Record Authorization Code.
  5. On old location, run \lincoln\bin\linclicense.exe.
  6. Click on Remove.
  7. Elect to remove license.
  8. Record Confirmation Code.
  9. Uninstall software from old location.
  10. Send Confirmation Code from old location and Authorization Code from new location to license@lincolnco.com, explaining that you are moving software. Be sure to tell us what product it is.
  11. We will send you an Authorization Key for the new location.
  12. Run \lincoln\bin\LincLicense.exe on new location.
  13. Select product.
  14. Enter Authorization Key.
  
  
• To move from Crypkey on one location to NewProtect on another location:
  1. Obtain upgrade from Lincoln.
  2. Install new software on new location.
  3. Run \lincoln\bin\LincLicense.exe on new location.
  4. Select product.
  5. Record Authorization Code.
  6. Run \lincoln\bin\License.exe on old location.
  7. Click on Remove.
  8. Record Confirmation Code.
  9. Send new Authorization Code and old Confirmation Code to license@lincolnco.com. State that you are moving software and upgrading to new version. Be sure to tell us what product it is.
  10. We will send you an Authorization Key for the new location.
  11. Run \lincoln\bin\LincLicense.exe on new location.
  12. Select product.
  13. Enter Authorization Key.
  
  
• To change from Crypkey version to NewProtect version on same machine:
  1. Obtain upgrade from Lincoln.
  2. Run \lincoln\bin\License.exe.
  3. Click on Remove.
  4. Record Confirmation Code.
  5. Uninstall old version of software, reboot.
  6. Install new version of software.
  7. Run \lincoln\bin\LincLicense.exe, select product, and record Authorization Code.
  8. Send Authorization Code and Confirmation Code to license@lincolnco.com. State that you are upgrading to new version and changing from Crypkey license to NewProtect license. Be sure to tell us what product it is.
  9. We will send you an Authorization Key for the new location.
  10. Run \lincoln\bin\LincLicense.exe on new location.
  11. Select product.
  12. Enter Authorization Key.
